Since Jer had the day off on Monday we decided to take a little road trip to see grandma and grandpa Young. Claire loved visiting Honey at school and especially liked climbing on all the desks, eating Chantilly cookies (we brought cookies for a surprise, but forgot that Pam and Mont are faithful members of Weight Watchers as of late), and snuggling with grandma on her napping recliner. We also visited Grandpa who introduced Claire to Bammer (a dog who loves to play soccer) and showed her around his work. When we visited Mike and Mavis Claire wanted taffy, taffy, and more taffy, which great grandpa was more than happy to provide. We ended the day with, what else, dinner at Taco Bandito! Gotta love that cactus juice.
Yes, jammies are Claire's usual dinner attire.

Oh so lucky, you are! I love surprise visits and I especially love Taco Bandito! Sounds like a perfect way to spend a day off!
