All Aboard!

I can't remember a Christmas in the Merrill home that there weren't model trains chugging and zipping underneath our old evergreen. My mom and dad absolutely love trains and enjoy finding new cars and engines to join their glorious collection. So when my parents invited us to go to the Ogden Train Expo I just couldn't say no. My interest was piqued and we headed to Union Station to join in all the train themed fun and activities. It was actually a really good time! (minus the stale cigarette and funky "scout troop" smell) You could feel the excitement of all of the treasure hunters when they would finally find a car they have been looking for for years! They had all sorts of vendors with any kind of train you could ever dream of. They had rides for the kids and old train cars for them to run around and play on. Oh yes, there were good times had by all at this years train expo!

All of the lucky expo goers
The best part of the day was wandering around the train station with my sweet hubby's hand in mine, sharing my parents special passion in life, and getting great pictures taken by old timers like....

THIS! ALL ABOARD!
