I love my ladies.
They are amazing to me.
I can't believe how much they have changed. Macy has piggy tails and teeth and Clairey is going to primary and gymnastics. How does this happen? How can time just sail by and these little moments can seem like they were so long ago and yesterday at the same time.
Motherhood is an interesting thing. You love your kids so much in each stage of their lives, so much that I you can pine for those first moments. Maybe that is what being "baby hungry" really is. You remember how much you loved your babes and you just can't wait to have another one so you can love it all over again.
Endless lullabies. Soft skin. Baby breath. Little toes and fingers...
My wish is that I can remember all the little tender moments I am given with my children. Each are so special and unique. Motherhood is hard but my gratitude for being a woman and a mother is beyond anything I could ever express. I love my babes, my toddlers, my sassy, sassy 3 year old.
I just feel so blessed to have two little girls in my home today.
They just melt my heart.

So True! I have a hard time remembering what it is like to have a little baby around. My girls are 5!
I can't wait to have this little one in our home!
And are you saying that you are baby hungry?
I was ready for an announcement at the end of your post Katie Jane! Love those moments too. Your girls are beautiful.
I know! They grow up too fast. Can you imagine what your mom's thoughts are on this?! I bet she's thinking, "I can't believe my baby Katie is a mom now!" :) And you're an awesome mom!
well put. will we be seeing you soon so we can meet miss macy?
You are a fantastic mommy and I love your thoughts on motherhood. They grow up so fast, enjoy every minute. smooches :)
nothing better than babies... and toddlers... and kindergartners... not so sure about those teenagers but isn't having kids the best! It's a roller coaster ride, some super hard times but mostly joy! ... what would we do without them to teach us? so lucky to be momma's huh!?
been missin you... remember our cousin valentine lunch last year- I'm hoping to have another one...watch for details to come soon!! xoxo
Love it!!! My sentiments exactly.
You are just the best. I love, love, love that post. Thanks for the reminder that motherhood is great!
I love you! How sweet was that post! I love your little girls, and how much you cherish motherhood! You're the best Katie!
This is my favorite pic of them. Your girls are so beautiful. I think motherhood is so interesting. Sometimes it's so easy to get lost in the monotony--well, that's not the right word--chaos is probably more like it for my household. But then, you take a step back, and you realize just how miraculous it is. You think about all of those little moments, about each time your child gets hurt and needs his mommy, or how they won't go to bed without an eskimo kiss, a cheek kiss, a lip kiss, and a fish kiss. There are so many things that make you smile each day that they do, and cry. Without all of the opposites, it wouldn't feel as worth it. You're an amazing mother, Katie. Thanks for sharing it through your blog. You've taught me a lot about how to love my children.
Your girls are just beautiful!
