I have a serious love affair with my family. First my incredibly dashing husband swept me off my feet and now my two little ladies have come into my life and stolen my heart. And the funny thing is, I just can't get enough of them. I had another moment where I fell even more in love with my little Janer.
I checked on her during nap time and found her in her room with her arms stretched above her head. Her tiny fingers laced patterns in the sunlight that was streaming through a crack in her curtains. I couldn't help but watch her intently as she chased the little dust particles in the late afternoon beams of light. They posed as little tiny dancers circling and weaving in the sun lit air, barely escaping the grasp of her tiny fingers.
They had her hypnotized.
She had me hypnotized.
When she saw me in the doorway she exclaimed, "I am chasing these!" I picked her up and leaned in to tell her a secret. I couldn't help it. "They are fairies, you know," I whispered in her ear.
She immediately moved in for closer inspection.
"Help me catch one," she said.
So I did. We pretended to catch fairies and let them go. We twirled and danced. Just like the dust fairies.
The beautiful memory of my Janer immersed in childhood wonder? I sure hope so.

What an adorable girl! She's so spunky and sweet! And I love that she's rapunzel--very cute. Congrats on your new home! We're so excited for you guys!
Why am I crying right now??? I am going to chalk it up to being pregnant! That is such a sweet memory, one that you will always remember! I would like to stop Kamri from growing RIGHT NOW! I haven't figured out how though! Ugh!

I feel terrible, you commented on my blog a long time ago and I'm just barely reciprocating and saying hello. I'm sorry I'm lame. How are you? Sounds like things are way good. It was nice to hear from you. I talked to Christine yesterday, don't you just love her?! You're family is beautiful!
