Backpacking in the White Clouds

Jer has been wanting to take me on a backpacking trip ever since I can remember and we finally made it happen this year! We went with all of Jer's siblings and his cousin and their spouses.  We had the best time.  It was amazingly beautiful and I am so glad I have a husband that loves the outdoors and shares that love with me.  There are a million pictures, but I don't want to forget any of it.

Meg and I before the big hike to the top
basking in the sun.  I should be a model for gear, I know.
I love that part way through the hike Clint is super tired in the background and we are apparently full of energy. We were pretty excited for our hike.
 during the hike...
 Crossing streams...
Directorial sign.  A must to pose with.
 More than once.
Clint was a little sweaty and little tired.  What a trooper.
 Meg's snacks were go-ood.
Jer makes fishing look so good!
 Fish on!
I do not love to take the fish off of the hook. Dreadful.  It makes my insides squirm.
Clint and Meg
Breakfast of hot cocoa and oatmeal. Mmmmm. Cute little siblings.
The other hikers made it!  They came in the day after us.

I loved this hike.  We hiked up a lot of snow and you could hear the stream underneath.  Kind of creepy awesome.

We hiked into another lake that was 3/4 covered in snow.  It was gorgeous...and the fishing was not good, Shocker.
Me and the the backpacking master
The boys
 The girls...including the sheep hearder.
I love this picture. So beautiful.
We packed up and headed out to make the trek home.  The burger we had on our way back was to die for.  Such a fun trip!
